About Me

My name is Sai Thurein. (psy, sï)

I was born in Rangoon, Burma in 1980. I don't have too many memories of Rangoon, though. My family moved to Singapore when I was two and a half years old. I don't have too many memories of Singapore as well (hmmm... seems like a reoccuring theme here). My family moved to Sydney, Australia when I was seven, and here we have stayed.

After getting over the childish fads of becoming an astronaut or an economist (yes yes I know...) I settled on becoming a software engineer. My first project was written in Delphi back in 1995, and after that there was no stopping me!

I'm currently plying my trade as a Web Technologist. (That means I do graphic design, HTML/CSS, writing server-side juggery pokery, and whatever else takes my fancy each day.) In the past, I have been a Data Analyst, Project Manager, Applications Developer, Software Tester, and an Asian antiques peddler.

Oh did I mention that I am single (more or less) and don't feel right without a brief mid-morning refuel for some elevenses.
